New York, New York! What a marvelous city! This intermediate solo will whisk you away to the bustling noise of the largest U.S. city, the wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains, and the awesome serenity of Niagara Falls. The first movement, On Boynton Avenue is a dedication to the hustle and bustle of the city. It has a fast swing tempo and syncopated rhythms. The second movement is called Adirondack Reverie and is slow, calm and sophisticated. The last movement, Niagara, is flowing with beautiful harmonies and textures. The right hand emulates a rapidly flowing waterfall with sixteen note runs. Superb!
