Humbug

Based on the Dickens "Christmas Carol," the action of this musical takes place in the present-day classroom of grumpy teacher Ms. Ebenezer, who has lost her charm and spunk as an educator.  Through three special visitors, the janitor, the coach and the music teacher, Ms. Ebenezer rediscovers her first love of teaching and through the big heart of Bobby Cratchit, she is reminded of the importance of how we teach our children by the lives we live.  Though it mentions the holiday vacation, this musical could easily be performed any time of year.  The classroom kit includes reproducible student pages with rhyming dialog, staging suggestions and the performance/accompaniment CD.  Grades K-3.  30 minutes.
