For violoncello and piano.  First printing.  Originally composed in 1989 (now withdrawn), this version, commissioned by Kate Dillingham, was created in 2002 and premiered on April 16th, 2002 by Ms. Dillingham at Merkin Concert Hall, New York City.  The original version was commissioned by Jeanne Kierman and Norman Fischer, who premiered the work on January 21st, 1992 at Rice University, Houston, Texas.  Versions for viola and piano, and alto saxophone and piano are also available.
