Bread of Heaven

A prayerful, historic communion text is expressively set for SATB choir and piano.  Scriptural allusions fill the poetic lines and remind us of the true and living bread: "Day by day with strength supplied, through the life of him, who died. Take our lives and let us be rooted, grafted, built on thee."  The easy part writing and supportive accompaniment make this an accessible, meaningful interpretation of the Lord's Supper.
