Three Carols for Brass Quintet

Three Carols for Brass Quintet was composed for the Great Basin Brass Quintet in 1988 and premiered that year at a Christmas concert given at the University of Nevada. The three traditional carols, We Three Kings of Orient Are; What Child Is This (Greensleeves) and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, are arranged in series with intervening 16th Century species countrapuntal variations. About four minutes in duration, this is a perfect seasonal arrangement for the accomplished high school or college brass quintet.
