Baby, Won't You Please Come Home?

Here's a great vehicle for teaching your younger jazz ensemble how to swing. Originally a blues tune from 1919, this familiar song has become an often recorded jazz standard. John Berry's updated version features a comfortable medium swing tempo, a soli for the sax section, and solid tutti scoring for the full band, plus it's playable with optional reduced or expanded instrumentations.
