Regal March uses the first five notes of the Bb Major scale (with an optional 6th note in the 1st clarinet and trumpet parts). Rhythms consist of whole, half and quarter notes and rests, with a simple, steady note pattern in the snare to help your snare drummer work on keeping the beat with the band. Timpani part has an optional roll at one point, and there are additional percussion parts for bells and xylophone. Your beginners will love it!
