Hard Hittin'

Hard Hittin' is a swing/funk chart written at about 184 bpm, but sounds like it's written at half that tempo... a great feel! The drummer needs to be on top of the game in this one. There's a suggested solo in the trumpet 1 part with chords in all parts for extended solos. This chart is structured so that it can be played with any 4-, 5- or 6-horn ensemble and rhythm section.
