Fools Rush In

This slow swing chart was written for the Count Basie band and opens with the trombones stating the melody for the first A section. This is followed by a tenor saxophone solo for the second A with swinging brass backgrounds. There's a great saxophone soli that leads to a shout chorus and ending. With great harmonies and swinging melodic lines, this slow swinger at around 100 bpm, is as vital today as it was in Basie's hey day!
