Kentucky Hoss Blues

Here's a down-home cookin' sultry blues in F chart, at a medium swing tempo, that's loads of fun! A call-and-response melody between the saxes and brass on the head creates a feel of tension and release, yet it remains loose and relaxed at all times.  Additional highlights include a written or improvised trumpet solo followed by an ad lib alto sax solo, followed by a dynamite sax section soli answered by the brass, and then a quiet shout, and a build back to the head. An ideal swinger!
