Havona

Recorded by Weather Report on their landmark album Heavy Weather in 1977, Havona epitomizes the high-energy jazz fusion style of Jaco Pastorius. This version for little big band is a real showpiece for the bass player and includes a transcription of Jaco's part along with an alternate easier part. Also included is a flexible solo section for any player with suggested solos and scale/chord sheets in all keys included. Instrumentation: six horns (ATB saxes, two trumpets, one trombone) plus four rhythm with optional additional parts for alto, tenor and trombone.
