Peace

The glow of a quiet and starlit night opens this tranquil work with lightly scored melodic lines floating amid the gentle tolling of far off bells. The music then unfolds as it easily weaves its way through a change in key, much as a wandering traveler traverses changing landscapes. Throughout the entire piece the musical material always displays a feeling of assurance and aspiration as well as peace and tranquility.
