Lift Up Your Heads, All You Bowed Low

New hymns by gifted authors and composers are always welcome, but sometimes tricky to introduce. This concertato by the hymn's composer solves that problem. The hymn was written for the second Sunday of Easter but works beautifully on many occasions. Susan Briehl's evocative text is beautifully captured in Highben's melody that moves across meters yet remains very accessible.
