Throw Me a Bone

Throw Me a Bone is an original swinger scored for flexible instrumentation small groups. The features include a hip 50's swing feel with harmonies reminiscent of the west coast cool era. A solo section is included with a written tenor sax solo. Chords are written into all horn parts to allow for open soloing as desired. Flexibility is the key to this chart in that it can be played with 4, 5 or 6 horn ensembles and rhythm section. Additional wind parts are included so it can be played with virtually any combination of winds. Nice small group chart!
