Marches are an important part of the heritage of the American concert band, and beginning students need to be introduced to this important style right away. This original piece is effectively written in the traditional style and is playable by the youngest of players. It contains only the first six notes learned, with simple repeated eighth notes, yet it still has all of the elements of the style students need to know.
