A Country Lullaby

This beautiful piece for young band provides wonderful opportunities for the ensemble to musically paint a pastoral country scene. The subtle work features flowing lines insistently moving forward like a quiet mountain stream, with multiple moving lines shifting the focus of the listener to different tone colors. As they move in and out of the foreground, each instrument has the opportunity to shine with the melodic ideas written in each part.
