John Rutter sets an original text to sublime music that harkens back to his Lord, Make Me An Instrument. With a focus on light, thanks and creation Rutter intersperses phrases of Latin text and followed immediately by their English translation. The vocal lines are often in unison with minimal SATB writing and the ranges are very reasonable. A song of thanksgiving that will be a joy to sing and hear.
