Veterum Oratio

This beautiful a cappella setting of the Agnus Dei Latin text is engaging and compelling. The use of divisi, chord clusters and various harmonic textures creates some gorgeous harmonic moments. Mixed meters occur throughout but flow nicely with the text and music. The ending is perhaps the most spellbinding, as one voice part after another closes to a hum that evaporates into silence.
