My Faith, My Hope

Based on George Herbert's poem The Call, this original anthem approaches the text both as a personal expression of faith and as a general statement. The very tender verse, "Come, my Joy, my Love, my Heart" is set in a lower, gentler key, with sweet dissonance. The music then rises to the original key for a final, triumphant statement. Beautiful!
