Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing
This Stevie Wonder hit from the 1970s features a distinctive Latin/rock groove along with a memorable theme. Paul Murtha does a great job of capturing the flavor of the original in this easy version for younger jazz bands. The tempo is moderate and there is plenty of tutti ensemble playing, plus a short written or improvised solo for trumpet. Playable by optional reduced or augmented instrumentations, it also includes fully-notated bass lines and piano voicings. No worries!
