Journey of the Magi

Here is a holiday fantasy piece that tells of the journey of the three wise men through the well-known Christmas carol We Three Kings of Orient Are. After an introduction establishes the nobility and Eastern origins of the travelers, there are three contrasting settings of the carol's verse and two of the chorus. The music then fades out as the royal caravan gradually disappears, continuing their search.
