All Shook Up

This American jukebox musical features the songs of Elvis Presley - by way of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. This adaptation is a 70-minute revised edition of the Broadway musical for young actors and audiences. The story centers around a mysterious stranger who shows up in a small Midwestern town in the 1950s. Clad in a leather jacket and wielding a guitar, this stranger "shakes up" this small town. Mistaken identity, confusion and romance ensue through a hilarious story line with plenty of hip-swiveling! Some song keys have been adapted where needed for young voices, and songs and scenes have been edited for time and content while keeping the spirit of the original Broadway show intact. Dynamic leading roles and a principal ensemble/chorus featured throughout the show make this a great choice for casts of any size.
