Ride Through the Valley

Take your audience on a brisk and exhilarating musical journey through the countryside. The tour begins with a fast-paced opening, building momentum and leading to the bright and tuneful main theme. A lyrical contrasting section follows, as if to pause to take in the surrounding view. A warmth of instrumental colors is enhanced by vibraphone and gracefully cascading lines. A brief transition leads to a return of the main theme, bringing our delightful trip to a fulfilling conclusion. This flexible version comes with supplemental parts and permission is granted to photocopy as needed. A percussion accompaniment track is also available as a free download. String parts have been edited with extra fingerings and bowings to support students in mixed ensembles playing in less familiar keys.
