Be Thou My Vision

While the text is from the traditional hymn, the composer has written an original melody with flowing piano accompaniment for the first two verses. The hymn tune SLANE then appears as an interlude leading to the third verse which is sung to that tune. The piece ends with a return to the original melody. Simple, fresh, and effective with any size SATB choir.
