What Child?

What Child Is This? receives a hip new treatment in this a cappella original that features optional djembe and body percussion. This arrangement is freshly set in 2/4 with accompanying rhythmic vocal ostinato patterns in the lower voices, and the original feel is preserved in the middle with a lyrical 6/8 section that transitions back to opening meter. Contemporary a cappella techniques meet a traditional carol, and the effect is mesmerizing!
