A holiday concert gone wrong is the theme of this humorous number! It's as if the band members got their parts all confused! Beloved carols, familiar tunes, and zany effects, courtesy of well-placed glissandos, ratchets, bird whistles, and a slew of other things, get all mixed up. Finally, the conductor bangs the stand with his baton to get the attention of the band, and manages to pull it together for the ending. Imagine the staging possibilities!
