Listening Resource Kit

This is a complete resource for music listening! Each kit comes with a CD recording of all the selections, featuring artists such as Glenn Gould, the Canadian Brass, the Toronto Children's Chorus and Tafelmusik. The kit includes: reproducible biographies and worksheets on major composers, instrument families, and a listening log. Activities include cup games as well as movement activities using scarves, balloons, flashlights, paper plates and ribbons. Internet references are provided, with an "Internet Scavenger Hunt" for upper elementary students. The "Intercom Listening Program," complete with scripts and recordings, is a great way to introduce the entire school to great music!
