Product Description
Beautifully illustrated, annotated and arranged, this piano picture book includes a short biography of Antonio Vivaldi, a short history of the work The Four Seasons, and moderate-level arrangements of each concerto: La primavera (Spring); L'estate (Summer); L'autunno (Autumn) and L'inverno (Winter). Each concerto is preceded by a 14-line sonnet, presumably written by Vivaldi to describe each movement. The artwork found throughout the book, depicting each season, is gorgeous. Drawings by Brigitte Smith.
