This piece is a nice slow-fast combination of movements giving opportunities for expressive and rapid passages.  The arrangement can also be performed as a Quartet (without the 3rd Oboe part) or as a "Double Reed Ensemble" with all parts doubled. The 3rd Oboe part is an extra one, written at and EASY level allowing developing players of lesser abilities the opportunity to be included in the "Double Reed Ensemble."
