This exceptional composition for mature bands is an 8-minute single movement work that offers a great variety of compositional techniques, and at the same time remains completely appealing to audiences.   The Canzon section is based on Gabrieli's Canzon Noni Toni, but the true underlying thematic material which appears throughout he work is the familiar Thanksgiving hymn We Gather Together.  The piece easily moves between Renaissance, early Baroque and contemporary styles to create a substantial work that will be a favorite with directors and performers alike!
