Musically recreate the night of Casey Jones' famous and fateful last train run with this cleverly scored programmatic piece.  Shortly after the steam engine pulls away from the station and quickly gains full speed, the warning torpedoes placed on the track are heard exploding in the percussion section and the band suddenly puts on the brakes.  But it is too late and the loud impact resonates through the ensemble as the train then grinds to a halt.  A truly creative piece for young players!
