Robert Lowry's famous tune with the expressive words beginning "Lo, in the grave he lay" and continuing "Up from the grave he arose...Hallelujah, Christ arose" is the basis for this joyous setting for 3-5 octaves with optional handchimes.  Other Easter hymntunes make appearances in the interludes, including: Llanfair, Easter Hymn and Lasst Uns Erfreuen.
