Farewell is a heartwarming rock ballad featuring solo alto saxophone. The tender melodic statement tells the story as the alto soloist plays the rich written melody. The soloist has an opportunity to stretch out in an improvised section. Later in the chart, the brass tutti  will lift you out of your seat!
