Experience the vibrant and exciting music of the mariachi tradition with your string players! Lifetime mariachi performer and educator John Nieto joins Bob Phillips to provide authentic orchestral settings of familiar, traditional tunes. Tunes range from the simple ones for younger players to more challenging tunes. These arrangements can also be played by a mariachi band alone or jointly by a string orchestra and a mariachi band. Trumpet and Rhythm books are available to provide optional parts for trumpet, guitar, guitarron, vihuela, piano and harp.
