Originally recorded by Lynyrd Skynyrd, this is one of the most powerful "arena rock" tunes of all time.  It opens in a rock ballad style and finishes with a driving rock vamp that can be used as a flexible solo section with suggested or ab lib solos.  Skillfully arranged for beginning groups, this is sure to be a favorite.  Arranged for full jazz ensemble, it's also playable with a minimum instrumentation of 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone and rhythm section.  Optional parts are also included for flute, 2 clarinets, French horn and tuba.
