This setting of the exuberant hymn LLANFAIR begins with new music centering on the foundational truth of Romans 8: "If God be for us, who can be against us?"  Building in intensity as it declares Christ's victory, the work comes to a thrilling culmination as the final verse is sung with a soprano descant using the Romans passage as its crown jewel. Sensible vocal ranges, two brass players, percussion, organ and optional piano allow for the work to be presented with choirs of any size. Absolutely glorious!
