Here's Two
Most of the pieces are layered ostinati with a melody; you decide when to layer in parts, how many times to repeat a section, when to begin improvised solos, and what instrument combination to use. Each piece has a lesson guide which includes listening-with-commentary, a brief analysis, methodology for teaching, an extension activity, suggestions for adding unpitched rhythm, and incorporating improvisation. Online access contains visual aids to help with ensemble and solo instrument setup, MP3 audio files for each piece, and full scores and student parts.
