I've Got Beginner's Luck
This is one of a series of arrangements written by Nelson Riddle for Ella Fitzgerald focusing on the Gershwin songbook. These arrangements constitute some of the most famous settings of classic songs for one of the greatest vocalists in American music. This arrangement is not technically difficult and is a great, swinging showcase for the vocalist. An alternate synthesizer part is included that may be used in place of the strings, and alternate reed parts are included that avoid the flute and clarinet doubles. Vocal key: B-flat.
