Publisher Desc.  This is an original work for band, the melody taken from a song I began writing some 10 years earlier for my wife. The lyrics for the original song drew on the Navajo blessing may you walk in beauty, referring to the text of the "Blessing Way" prayer. The piece features solos for the oboe, flute, trumpet and tenor or alto sax and has some flexibility to adapt to different instrumentation using anywhere from three to six percussionists.
