Midnight Sea

Mysterious, yet powerful, sounds alternate with gentle melodic passages to illustrate the power of the sea at night. Written in A minor, the primo and secondo parts explore the high and low registers of the piano and both parts have melodic material. The 3/4 meter keeps the piece moving forward and rhythmic interest creates a sense of urgency in the music.
