Nothing to Do Blues
Publisher Desc.
Any young child who has ever complained about having "nothing to do" will relate easily to the lyrics of this blues solo. The single-line melody, written in 4/4 time and in Middle C position, is divided between the hands. Accidentals occur throughout the piece in both treble and bass clef. These accidentals, coupled with a moderately slow tempo, help to create an authentic blues sound. The optional teacher accompaniment provides a rich harmonic background and an opportunity to emphasize a steady tempo.
