Product Description
The Developing Artist series includes a comprehensive set of literature books for the serious-minded student. The music offered is authentic keyboard repertoire. Piano Sonatinas, Book 1 is a carefully conceived collection offering an ideal introduction to the easiest keyboard sonatinas. Each sonatina in Book 1 is preceded by "warm-up" exercises which address certain technical challenges in the piece. The sonatinas in Book 2 offer a path for developing finger dexterity, balance between the hands, and elegant phrase shaping. Book 3 includes an ample collection of complete sonatinas and selected movements to give the teacher and student a wide range of choices. Book 4 includes the easier sonatas of Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn.
