Rhapsody Bacchanale
Rhapsody Bacchanale is a two-mallet marimba solo inspired by Saint-Saen's Samson et Dalila, Act III. This four-minute work is composed around a fragmentation of the main theme of Danse Bacchanale. It explores a wide variety of sounds and colors available on the marimba and is written from a drumming perspective, containing a very rudimental approach to the instrument.
