Song to the Moon
This is vintage, expressive writing for the upper-level choir. Scored for voices, flute, oboe and piano, it is laced with the haunting, mysterious wonder of the moon. The text is freely paraphrased from the work of Czech poet Jaroslov Kvapil. "La Luna, your light sees through endless time. Tell, o tell me where my love lies. O moon, e'er you pass, wake my dreaming lover. I am waiting, I am calling..."
