Standing on the Corner
In April of 1956, Dean Martin recorded this arrangement that was written by Hollywood heavyweight Gus Levene and featured a male vocal quartet backing Martin. Then as now, the male vocal group consisted of two tenors and two baritones; however, this chart can certainly be performed with just a vocal soloist. In addition, there are no trumpet parts for this studio orchestra arrangement, and an optional synthesizer part is included that may be used in place of the strings.
