Publisher Desc.  No Bridges (Vashon Suite) was commissioned by the Vashon Island Chorale and artistic director Dr. Gary Cannon. Composed to celebrate the occasion of the Vashon Island Chorale's 25th Anniversary in 2014, the Suite's eleven songs celebrate the history, geography and romance of Vashon Island. Composer Bronwyn Edwards wrote the lyrics and music. Strawberry Kisses -- set in 10/8 time -- is the sixth song in the Suite, where two lovers set out on a tandem bicycle to explore the island on a beautiful summer's day. They search for the perfect picnic spot where they can enjoy the sights, share strawberries fresh from their garden, and sneak in a few strawberry kisses...
