The Fire Within is a very clever and catchy original Latin composition from Jamey Simmons. Set in a couple of different feels, this chart is playable by most bands due to fully notated rhythm section parts and reasonable ranges in the brass with written C being the highest note. The ensemble writing is superb and there are solos for both alto saxophone and trumpet. This great chart will add interest and contrast to any program!
