The Wind That Shakes the Barley
arr. Dan Davison
- Walton Music
In this arrangement of a nineteenth-century song about love and war during the Irish Rebellion of 1798, a separate treble ensemble alternately sings the role of Ireland and the role of the Maiden. The part for war drum also plays an important role in this dramatic work. Performance notes help the choir to achieve an authentic Irish accent.
