As recorded by the Maynard Ferguson Orchestra on New Sounds of Maynard Ferguson, this Willie Maiden arrangement takes a great tune and putis it in an up-tempo swing setting. This chart has a bop-like melody performed as a duet by alto saxophone and trumpet at the beginning, then moves into the ensemble. There is solo space for alto saxophone followed by a roaring shout chorus taking it to the end. There are some high trumpet notes (a la Maynard), with optional lower notes included. As always, Maiden provides an incredible arrangement sure to be loved by all audiences!
