Composer: Ian McLoughlin

Ian McLoughlin was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He learned music from an early age by taking piano, voice and organ lessons at church. His love of music began when he picked up the trumpet in 4th grade an could not put it down. Ian graduated from High school in 1994 and attended the Pennsylvania State University from 1994-2003 where he received his BA in trumpet performance along with a MA in trumpet performance. He studied with John Daniel and Langston Fitzgerald with a primary focus in orchestral playing. Ian now works for J.W. pepper and Son as the Manager of Instrumental Music Sales. He has a wife, Amy, and a beautiful daughter, Anna.
